The history of PROFILMEC GROUP has its roots set within the last 50 years when most of the group companies where established. PROFILMEC GROUP core business is the production of precision High Frequency (HF) welded steel tubes and profile sections. The materials used are pickled, cold-rolled, aluminized and galvanized. PROFILMEC GROUP, which boasts a modern and functional organization operates within a sales network in Italy and the rest of EuropeThe experience acquired over the years and successful market participation have made PROFILMEC GROUP an undisputed leader in the field of precision electrically welded tube and profile production. Thanks to the diverse professional skills found in PROFILMEC GROUP companies diversified solutions can be provided by a real pool of specialist for customer service. PROFILMEC GROUP with its parent company located in Turin, and controlled companies in Cuneo, Turin, Pordenone and Teramo (for a total of 7 production facilities) occupies a total surface area of more than 450,000 square meters, 140,000 of which are covered. Production is approximately 3 million meters per day equal to about 1450 tons per days. The location of production facilities is geographically suited for major customers to provide "just in time service" if necessary. Main group facilities are located in northern Italy, in (Turin and Cuneo) and in the east the Pordenone area. PROFILMEC Spa, LITA Spa and ISPADUE Spa specialize in the production of cold rolled and electrically welded precision steel tubes and profile sections. The Group also owns a primary engineering company, ROLM Srl that specializes in designing and building steel plates. Besides selling to third parties the company also supplies to other companies within the group constant plant and machinery technology updating. Other GROUP members include SIM of Teramo which mostly caters to the needs of the FIAT Group in that area, SIT SPA and CMP SPA, which are directed towards marketing of iron and steel products and the supply of services.
